Post Lap Band Surgery

Since having Lap Band surgery, Rebecca has dropped from a size 22 to a size 16, with some of her clothes now falling down on her; clothes that she previously had problems getting into because they were too tight.

Rebecca had the surgery on a Thursday and was up and around the next day.

"I think your head makes it (the surgery procedure) really bigger than it is," Rebecca noted.

Commenting that mothers at school look at her differently now because of her weight loss, Rebecca claims she feels better about herself and she makes sure to keep an eye on what she eats.

"It is my responsibility to take care of me," Rebecca said. "It feels now like I'm burning twice the fat. My kids have definitely noticed a difference in me."

As Rebecca puts it, Lap Band surgery is a priceless effort, one that has made a difference in her life for the better.
